Cheddleton Parish Council currently has vacancies for resident representatives on two of its committees and would love to hear from anyone interested in getting involved.
By joining a committee, you’ll be able to take part in discussions throughout meetings, raise your hand to speak, and share your views on matters affecting the parish. While resident representatives do not have a vote on the final resolution, they play an important role in helping shape discussions and informing decisions.
Current Vacancies:
🚶 Planning & Footpaths Committee
We are looking for 1 resident representative, ideally someone with a keen interest in local footpaths and rights of way.
The next meeting is on Thursday 11th June at 8:00pm.
🌳 Assets & Services Committee
We are looking for 3 resident representatives to help discuss matters relating to burial grounds, open spaces, playgrounds, and other community assets.
The next meeting is on Thursday 18th June at 7:00pm.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, please email clerk@migrationtest.nwclients.co.uk to register your interest and put your name forward. If you can also attend the meeting that would be excellent.
Have your say and help make a difference in your community!
